One minute she’s on top of the world — thanks to Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) assurance that her little sojourn from Statesville would stay a secret — and the next, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is down in the dumps.

Turns out her living rival is no longer in the frame for killing her very dead rival, which is good news for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) but very, very bad news for Gwen. She was really counting on Sarah to go down for murder so she could swoop in and console Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Fat chance of that now!
Speaking of Sarah and Xander, they really should be out and about and trying to unmask (pun intended) Gwen as the villainess that she is. Instead, they strategized for all of five minutes and then concentrated all their efforts on making love.
