When it appears that Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) role in Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) drug operation will be outed, Xander (Paul Telfer) makes a big sacrifice…he lies and says that it was all him! Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is floored by the development – if not dubious…especially since big brother Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) investigation pointed the finger at Gwen — and Gwen alone. Will Jack accept what Xander has to say and let his daughter stay protected?

Paulina (Jackée Harry) is caught off-guard when her mother, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs), shows up on her doorstep. It’s clear that there’s some serious tension between these two, so don’t be surprised when the reunion goes from awkward to full-blown battle royale.
Opposite this, DAYS spoilers tease that Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) explains to hubby Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) exactly why she’s finding it so difficult to forgive Paulina her lies about Horton Town Square. Will it finally all make sense or will everyone be more confused than ever?

DOOL Spoilers: Loser In Love
Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) have a joyous reunion – which is then promptly stymied by the arrivals of Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer)!
Theo is left broken-hearted when Ciara takes him aside and confesses that she’ll not be returning to Salem with him, that she’ll not be marrying him, and that they’ll no longer be a couple — awww. Guess he shouldn’t have pinned all his hopes on getting with a girl who wasn’t in possession of all her mental faculties. Funny that.
