DAYS Recap: Xander Prompts Nicole to Beat Sami At Her Own Game

The DAYS recap for Monday, June 21, 2021, features Xander’s honesty getting the better of him, Kate continuing her game of Blind Man’s bluff, and Philip making Chloe an offer that he prays she won’t refuse.

DAYS Recap Highlights

In Salem, turn about is fair play. If you’re the victim of an insidious smear campaign you fight right back, and the dirty the better. Xander (Paul Telfer) shouldn’t have had to explain that to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) but explain he did.

And he even helpfully suggested how she could go about bringing Sami (Alison Sweeney) to heel: figure out if she did the deed with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), then blackmail her into submission.

It’s a very similar ploy to what Xander’s doing, though his luck may just have run out, considering the fact that Brady (Eric Martsolf) caught him mid-boast.

Full House

EJ charmed his way into Gabi’s (Camila Banus) good graces and snagged himself and Sami invitations to move into the mansion. EJ also magnanimously offered Lucas a room next to Kate (Lauren Koslow), but Sami put a kibosh on that. No way is she living in the same house as her current husband and former squeeze!

Scheme Queen

Kate continued to toy with Jake (Brandon Barash) – though he did manage to weasel out of *ahem* servicing his “girlfriend.” After a heart-to-heart with Sami, Gabi decided to stake her claim on Jake once and for all, and she headed off to confront her love rival…though she’ll have to take a number because Kate’s time is currently being co-opted by a lovelorn Lucas.

Object of Affection

Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Brady sparred over Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), and the latter tried to guilt Miss Lane into coming back to work; Brady really doesn’t want to have to work with Xander without friendly backup.

Philip took umbrage with the idea, and he suggested that Chloe come and work for him at Titan. Won’t Uncle Vic (John Aniston) be pleased? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
