Days of our Lives Video Celebrates Olympics Break; Ciara, Ben Reunion?

Brace yourself, Days of our Lives fans. Yesterday’s episode was the last you’ll be seeing of your favorite Salemites for a while. The show won’t air for the next two weeks, because it’s being preempted for the 2021 Summer Olympics. In the interim, the soap released a fun video chock-full of DAYS action promoting the international sporting competition, with a romantic Ben and Ciara moment slipped in.

“Days of our Lives will be back after the Olympics,” explains the announcer, as Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) buffs up doing sit-ups, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) appears wearing a USA medal, and Sami Brady Dimera (Alison Sweeney) literally jumps for joy. “Until then, enjoy the hurdles, gymnastics, diving, surfing, fencing, wrestling, shootings, baseball, boxing and shot puts.”

Getting Into the Action

Each sport mention is accompanied by an apropos DAYS clip, featuring your favorite characters in some dicey situations. Among them: Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall), Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker), Chanel Dupres (Raven Bowens), Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), and more.

The promo wraps on a positive note with a chuckle from Sami and a great big smile from Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), celebrating the soap’s eventual return. Plus, there’s a beautiful Ben and Ciara moment that’s sure to make all the “Cin” fans out there happy.

“Cin” Moment

In it, the estranged couple appears to be extremely happy and, possibly, back together. Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) looking handsome clad in a tux. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is radiant and wearing a gorgeous gown. The pair are sharing a romantic dance and are all smiles, as Ben twirls Ciara around the room.
