Alzheimer’s Disease is a condition that robs people of their memories and makes it harder and harder to function… and is also hard on families. While a couple of soaps have storylines about it, Days of our Lives actress Victoria Konefal and her family are dealing with one of the most frightening parts.
Victoria Konefal Needs Your Help
The young star took to her Instagram stories to share the news with her followers… especially ones who may live near where her aunt, Czeslawa Konefal, lives in Brooklyn, New York.
In the first image, it has a picture of her aunt, saying that she is 76 years old, along with other information that may help someone who thinks they have spotted her. It also states that she was last seen on February 9 at approximately 10:15 am and warns that she suffers from dementia and high blood pressure. It also lists a number to call.
In the second image, Konefal writes, “Wow. This is my aunt. If any of you live in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg area of Brooklyn PLEASE look out for her. If you see her reach out to me. Thank you.” The same image also says that she was last seen at St. Stan’s church on Diamond and Driggs.

Reaching Out
Victoria Konefal is smart to get the word spread as wide as possible, something for which social media is incredibly useful. Her aunt doesn’t speak any English, which could make helping her even more difficult for those who try to approach her.
