At the beginning of summer, the editors of Soap Hub decided that since there wasn’t a fan-based awards show in which viewers could choose their daytime favorites, we would hold the Inaugural Soap Hub Awards. After a voting period in which you were able to vote for your favorites, the winning stars were announced, including Days of our Lives star Victoria Konefal, in a virtual ceremony held at the end of August.

Victoria Konefal Receives Her Award

She won our hearts with her portrayal of Ciara Brady and recently received her award for Favorite Days of our Lives Actress and decided to show her Instagram followers what the statue looks like — and it appears she had a bit of fun showing how the award looks in different lighting.

As she showed the various sides of the award, she typed alongside the words, “Thank you @soaphub for this GORGEOUS award, feelin the luvvv” and in the next Instagram story, you’ll have to see what she was doing with the award that caused her to say, “What I’ll be doing all day.”

Fans have always rooted for Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) daughter, especially when Victoria Konefal took over the role and was paired with fellow winner Robert Scott Wilson’s Ben Weston. Right now, Ciara is missing and feared dead but it’s a good bet that neither Ben nor her mom will ever give up on her.

Days of our Lives History

DOOL made its debut on November 8, 1965, and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera currently airing in American history. The show shot to the No. 1 spot in the ratings in the early 1970s and has been a fan favorite thanks to its emphasis on romance, adventure, and family.

The Horton clan has been a staple on DAYS since its inception. Since then other families have been added to the show’s storytelling canvas including the Bradys, the DiMeras, the Kiriakises, and the Hernandez clan. Two of the show’s most enduring love stories are the ones belonging to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Patch (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
