The stars of Days of our Lives have been enjoying a several-month hiatus from production, which Stacy Haiduk has made tremendous use of by attending a yoga retreat to enjoy taking good care of herself — and she has wise words that may help you too.

The actress, who portrays Kristen DiMera on the NBC soap, traveled to Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta for a bit of pampering and self-care, which turned out to be an incredible trip learning about kindness — towards a very special person. Always one to be uplifting on her Instagram account, she revealed what she learned in a recent post.

She started with the quote, “You will never speak to anyone more than yourself in your head, Be kind to yourself,” before she added her own thoughts. “I have been on [a] wonderful yoga retreat with so many amazing people. I almost didn’t do it. But I am so grateful I did.”
