She may portray a character whose audacity knows no bounds, but Days of our Lives star Precious Way is a woman wise beyond her years and could certainly teach Chanel Dupree a great deal.
The actress took to her rebooted Twitter account on Wednesday and shared a personal philosophy that she hopes many more people will adopt.
“Be very careful with the things that you let come out of your mouth,” Way cautioned. “Speak life and positive things, because the very person that you speak ill of, and the very person that you talk down about…God will make that be the very person that you need.”
Though she’s made a few posts on the beloved social media site since her first Tweet back in August of 2019 (though she joined Twitter in 2015), Way doubled down and admitted that she was now making a conceded effort to join the Twittersphere – and she’s doing it for her fans.
The new to daytime star was welcomed into the fold by fellow DAYS performer Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) and a number of new devotees including Jennifer Ann Redmond who wrote, “YAY! You are already my favorite Days character,” and Ariet who tweeted “Welcome to twitter and #DAYS family. You’re a great addition to the show. I love Chanel Dupree and her scheming ways.”
Long before joining the cast of NBC’s sole daytime drama, Way was an Instagram sensation, thanks in large part to the freestyle rapping and the commentary she provided for popular hip hop tracks. The Chicago native is also a published musician and a much-appreciated singer who released her first single, Watch Me Go, in 2017.
The nascent thespian broke into the acting world via TV commercials and the ongoing sitcom Partners in Rhyme, which airs on the ALLBLK streaming service.
Be sure to check out Precious Way’s complete video, which has been imbedded below. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
