Days of our Lives fans may be missing Olivia Rose Keegan as their favorite pyromaniac, Claire Bear Brady, but you won’t have to miss her portrayer who has landed an exciting primetime gig. Olivia Rose Keegan will be recurring on the second season of a hit show.
The blockbuster movie franchise, High School Musical, is also a successful television series and now Keegan has a recurring role during Season 2. She will be playing Lily, who TVLine describes as “an energetic and adorable East High freshman whose sweetness masks her insecurity and highly competitive nature.”
That certainly sounds right up her alley — playing Claire certainly prepared the young star for this role perfectly. She announced the news on her Instagram saying, “‘It’s the start of something newwwww…’❤️Beyond grateful and excited to be joining @highschoolmusicalseries !! We’ve got some fun things planned….😉”
It looks like she comes with a built-in fanbase if comments from her former co-stars are any indication. “I knew it was always just around the corner for you !” enthused Kate Mansi (Abigail). Not to be out-Abigailed, the former portrayer of the character, Marci Miller, added, “YES YES YES YES.”
Lamon Archey (Eli) added a row of star emojis while BFF Victoria Konefal (Ciara) exclaimed, “damn girl, time to getcha head in the game because YOU’RE BREAKING FREE ❤️”
Other former co-stars to send their best wishes include Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa), Galen Gering (Rafe), Sal Stowers (Lani), and Brock Kelly (Evan), along with tons of congratulations from her fans.
The show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series was first shown on Disney Channel, ABC, and Freeform on November 8, 2019, ahead of its launch on the streaming service Disney+ on November 12, 2019. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
