It was back on October 26, 2018, when Days of our Lives welcomed back the character of Sarah Horton, with actress Linsey Godfrey taking over the role of someone who hadn’t been seen in Salem for more than 25 years.

Godfrey was reminded of that special day by a tweet by ThoseWereTheDAYS that showed photos of her first on-air appearance, walking up to the Kiriakis door and hugging Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), her on-screen mom.
The actress responded with a tweet of her own, expressing how appreciative she was for the opportunity.
“Oh man! 2yrs today? I’m so grateful to everyone at @nbcdays, for giving me such a wonderful opportunity!” she wrote. “Thank you for the anniversary wishes! Can’t wait to see where Sarah goes and does next.”
Paul Telfer, who plays her love interest, Xander, retweeted a tweet about Godfrey’s first day with a fun emoji and included a video of the couple’s first scene together.
It hasn’t been an easy two years for Sarah. Early on, she had to deal with her fiancé Rex cheating on her and having a baby with Mimi. That drove her into the arms of Eric and she was soon blamed for the ‘death’ of Nicole’s baby. Sarah became pregnant but hid the news from father Eric.
The baby sadly died soon after birth but was switched with Rachel Black— the newborn daughter of Brady Black and Kristen DiMera. Upon learning the truth, Sarah kidnaps her and heads to Paris, but eventually is caught and is forced to lose another baby.
Lately, Sarah has been having some romantic troubles with Xander, and Philip seems to always be right there to cause more trouble between them. Are his motives strictly to stir things up in his rival or does he have actual feelings for Sarah? Stay tuned for what could be one bumpy triangle ahead.
