The Days of our Lives spoilers for April 13-17, 2020, reveal a spoiled wedding, a shocking abduction, a messy love triangle, and so much more.
Despite knowing the role her would-be groom played in switching her deceased baby with one belonging to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) proceeds down the aisle and allows the wedding ceremony to commence.
She remains stoic and silent throughout the early part of the ceremony but when Justin (who is officiating) asks the couple the all-important question – “Do you take this person” – Xander (Paul Telfer) answers in the affirmative and Sarah says she won’t!
A distraught Xander quickly realizes why his betrothed said no and does his utmost to convince her to not only forgive him but proceed with the wedding. Sarah vehemently refuses. And after issuing some harsh words, she retires to her room in order to say a final farewell to Baby Mickey.
Afterward, Eric (Greg Vaughan) makes his presence known and he too lights into Xander. Then he heads upstairs to commiserate with Sarah and bid Mickey a farewell of his own. However, he quickly realizes that Sarah has absconded with the child!
Steve (Stephen Nichols) may have survived his delicate brain surgery but now he is forced to endure the one-two-punch of learning about Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) death and Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) relationship with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth).
He makes it abundantly clear that he intends to fight for his ex and no one, not even a well-meaning Sonny (Freddie Smith) can convince him otherwise. And even though he initially promised not to stand in the way of Kayla and Steve reuniting, Justin is suddenly bolstered into action by his son and brother-in-law.
In other Salem news, Rafe (Galen Gering) receives shocking news from Evan’s (Brock Kelly) lawyer, Zoey (Kelly Thiebaud), and later faces off with David’s paternal grandfather, Orpheus (George DelHoyo).
Meanwhile, John (Drake Hogestyn) attempts to delicately explain Orpheus’s resurrection to Marlena (Deidre Hall), who then promptly tracks the mad man down and gives him a piece of her mind.
Finally, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny discuss expanding their family, Gabi (Camila Banus) spars with Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Chad (Billy Flynn), and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) presents Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) with a surprise gift – and he loves it!
Also, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) continues to struggle with the sins she committed while under Gina’s influence and she finds comfort in Steve. Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
