It’s safe to say that the pairing of good girl Ciara with bad boy Ben has been a huge success for Days of our Lives — that is when no one thinks about the fact that Ben was the Necktie Killer who strangled several Salem citizens. The show has been working overtime to turn him into a hero — but there is at least one hurdle left and her name is Eve.
Days of our Lives Spoilers Prediction
Think about it — Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) has been on a tear, saving the people of Salem left and right. He was the one to save Ciara (Victoria Konefal) when she was in the motorcycle accident — and then several times since. He even saved rival Tripp (Lucas Adams) when Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) tried to fry him to a crisp.
He also saved Haley (Thia Megia) that same day. When Gabi (Camila Banus) left Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to die all alone in the park, who saved her? That’s right! It was none other than Ben to the rescue. Ciara couldn’t stop telling everyone how Ben saved her grandma Julie!
Ben Plays The Hero
Heck, Ben just saved one of his supposed murder victims, surprising absolutely no one who was paying attention these last few months to the show. That’s right, he saved Will Horton (Chandler Massey) from being stabbed to death by Clyde (James Read), Ben’s own father. He turned on his own father and got stabbed for his trouble! Boy, he’s a saint!
Now he’s got Will singing his praises. We won’t even get into how the Salem correctional system could have ever put a murder victim, ahem, in the same cell as the guy who supposedly killed him but we digress. How else could Ben have played hero?
All About Eve
Now the only one who still thinks he’s no good is Eve (Kassie DePaiva), who continues to miss her darling daughter Paige and takes every opportunity (which, considering where she is, hasn’t been much lately) to rub it in his face that she knows who he truly is — a killer. So since she is being stubborn and won’t join the ‘I Heart Ben’ bandwagon, something has to happen.
It would make sense that just as he saved Will’s life, threatened in jail, that Ben would somehow find a way to save Eve. Sure, they don’t usually mix men and women in prison populations, but that’s a small hurdle. Must we remind you — Will is ALIVE. This will be a piece of cake — and we can’t wait to see it happen! Days of Our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
