Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, April 20, see Theo turn to an unlikely source for his tortured confession, while Rafe and Cat get closer to figuring out EJ’s medical mystery.
Key Takeaways
- Rafe and Cat take a deep dive into DiMera deaths.
- Theo turns to Gabi.
- Stephanie drifts towards Jeremy.
- Chanel and Lani reconnect.
Rafe and Cat’s Investigation into DiMera Secrets
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) were distracted from what EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) was hiding in the hospital basement by Owen (Wes Ramsey), who was hiding Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Jeremy (Michael Roark) there.
But now Stephanie is safe — if still traumatized; but that’s not Rafe and Cat’s problem, which means the detective duo can turn their attention back to EJ.
Theo’s Surprising Confession to Gabi
Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) pretty much ignored Jada (Elia Cantu) during Trivia Night, then blew her off to pout just a few feet away. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) went out to check on the guy she went to high school with. (Which made us do some quick soap-opera math: Gabi had Ariana [Vico Escorio] in high school.)
Ari is now in college, which means Gabi is at least in her mid-thirties. If she went to high school with Theo, then he’s in his mid-30s, too. Which would make Ceara and Claire about the same age. Which would make Shawn (Brandon Beemer) in his mid-50s? Which would make Hope [Kristian Alfonso]… in her mid-70s?
Also, Theo claims Liam [Hank Northrup] used to bully him in school. So Liam is… old enough to be Ari’s dad?) But that’s not relevant. What’s relevant is that Theo decides to tell Gabi what he has, so far, kept from everybody else.
Stephanie’s Traumatic Bond with Jeremy
No matter what Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) tries, he can’t seem to please Stephanie. They just can’t connect. You know who Stephanie can connect with? Jeremy. They went through a kidnapping together. What else will they share now?
Lani and Chanel’s Family Reunion
Lani (Sal Stowers, who reflected on Lani’s road back to Salem) is back in Salem. Chanel (Raven Bowens) has a lot on her mind. There’s her health. And there’s their mother. Maybe Lani can help with at least one of those things?
