When Eve makes her arrival back in town, she will have a bit of news that will throw just about everyone into quite a tizzy. She’s married. In fact, she’s now a Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Kiriakis.
That’s right, Eve is now the widow of Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry), because even dead this character refuses to ever really die.
Eve had gone a little soft when we last saw her, as a result of losing daughter, Paige (True O’Brien). She even flirted with a Kiriakis romance with Justin (Wally Kurth), but it was never meant to be. She finally left town to pursue a career in New York.
This time, the old Eve is back, according to the November 6 issue of Soap Opera Digest, and she’s ready to make her way into the Kiriakis manor, shock the family, and become a general nuisance.
“They are not happy about it,” Kassie DePaiva told Digest. “It’s like mixing oil and vinegar. Hopefully, the salad dressing will be tasty.”
DePaiva was set for a long-term return and new hot storyline a year ago and was then diagnosed with cancer after shooting a handful of episodes.
Now that she’s been given a clean bill of health, she’s thrilled to be back on the Salem scene–and KNOW she’s going to cause nothing but (fun) trouble.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
