Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, January 10
A possessed Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) reiterates his position: he doesn’t want to be married to Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) a minute longer. Chanel flees the DiMera manse; Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) follows. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) admonishes “Johnny” who, tiring of the theatrics, brings a chandelier crashing down. Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) saves Paulina from being crushed.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) have a heart-to-heart chat during a game of poker. Abe confesses that he’s forgiven Paulina her lie, but he can’t bring himself to put any more trust in her.
Allie acquiesces to Chanel’s plea that she stays the night with her. The two grow nostalgic for days gone by and wind up kissing…Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) confronts “Johnny” and makes it clear she knows he’s the Devil’s latest vessel.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, January 11
“Johnny” tampers with Susan’s mind. The result: she’s no longer wise to the truth about his possession…Paulina and Lani achieve rapprochement…Allie initially withdraws from her smooch with Chanel, but later leans in for more. Paulina catches them in flagrante delicto…EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) tries to convince Belle Brady (Martha Madison) to serve as his legal counsel; she’s dubious.
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) debate learning the sex of their baby. They eventually turn the sonogram over to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, January 12
“Johnny” convinces EJ to forfeit his shares of DiMera and sign them over to him…Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) grows wary at the prospect of letting EJ take the rap for Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). He tells Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) that he is going to tell the truth. When Kate protests, Chad agrees to tell the court that it was he, and not Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) who planted the evidence against EJ.
Allie resigns herself to telling Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) about her indiscretion. However, come the appointed time, Allie keeps mum…Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) encourages Belle to represent EJ…Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) tells Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that he’s being investigated for planting evidence of multiple arrestees…Belle takes on EJ’s defense.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, January 13
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nicholas) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) conspire to get the latter housed in a convent that they suspect has offered Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) sanctuary. Kristen spies the two making inroads with the Mother Superior. In response, she phones Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) who opinions that the couple is on the hunt for answers regarding Sarah Horton (Linsey Arnold).
EJ waves his right to a jury trial – much to Belle’s chagrin…Rafe confides in Shawn his suspicion that Ava is behind his and Nicole’s recent misfortunes. Opposite this, Ava reveals to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) that paid two men to make false accusations against Rafe.
DOOL Recaps: Friday, January 14
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) take to the Brady Pub for lunch; Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) interrupts the meal…”Johnny” uses magical means to keep Chad from testifying on EJ’s behalf. He then takes on EJ’s form and accosts Abigail in the hopes of ensuring Chad’s silence…Lucas returns to Salem…EJ signs away his shares in DiMera Enterprises to Johnny…Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) conspire to use Johnny as a means to finagle control of the family company.
