The Days of our Lives recaps for November 8 – November 12, 2021, feature the Devil struggling to maintain control, a father/daughter bond severed, a misunderstanding of epic proportions, and so much more.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, November 8
A possessed Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) makes plans to kill John Black (Drake Hogestyn). Her attempt to exit the apartment is stymied by Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who’s come seeking advice.
“Marlena” tells Brady that he’s to blame for Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) actions since she was only reacting to Brady’s continued devotion to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin); furthermore, “Marlena” encourages Brady to act upon his feelings for his ex.
Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) confesses her one-night stand with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to Chloe…Rafe debates coming clean to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) about his affair but thinks better of it.
During questioning, Ava maintains that it was Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) who offed Carmine Merlino (Richie Stevens); Rafe is dubious, but Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) cops to seeing Charlie as well; Rafe orders a sweep of the local cemetery.
Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) warns Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) that their unborn child is in grave danger. After making contact with Ciara’s belly, Susan collapses into a heap. Ben leaves to fetch Marlena, while a recovered Susan tries to once again clarify who or what is after the babe.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, November 9
Chloe catches Brady enraptured by an erotic fantasy; she tells him about Nicole and Rafe sleeping together on the conference table; Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) overhears the two, and incorrectly assumes they are discussing their own sexual dalliance.

“Marlena” is delighted to hear that Ciara is with child – and chagrined at Susan’s interference. She collects Susan from the Weston apartment; Susan is able to deduce that Marlena is possessed by an otherworldly evil…Nicole insists that Rafe remain mum about their night of passion
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, November 10
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) decided to forgo telling Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) the truth about her parentage…Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) are aghast to hear about Susan’s claims….”Marlena” renders Susan unconscious, then transforms her into a cat when Paulina comes a calling to reiterate her Lani related decision.
Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is tickled to find Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) channeling her Celeste character. He runs into Ben and Ciara and learns that she’s expecting…Lani lets slip to Chanel what she believes to be fact, ie Paulina always planned to ask her to be matron of honor.
DAYS Recaps: Thursday, November 11
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) agreed to drop all the charges leveled against Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) in exchange for his agreeing to testify against Philip…Ava changes her statement; her claim of murdering Carmine in self-defense is accepted, and she’s allowed to go free…Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) relives Philip of his CEO ship. Philip later rips the sapling that he and Chloe planted from the ground.
DOOL Recaps: Friday, November 12
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) tries and fails to convince Melinda to return the one million dollars she extorted from Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Xander unsuccessfully lobbies for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to forgive Gwen.
“Marlena” stows Susan in the DiMera crypt alongside John. John and Susan join forces to expel the Devil from Marlena; it jumps into Susan. After debating its next move, the Devil decides to corrupt John and Marlena’s love. To achieve the desired goal, it takes on Kristen DiMera’s (Eileen Davidson) alluring form.
