The Days of our Lives recaps for March 15-19, 2021, features Ben in want of a miracle, Sarah’s special day soundly ruined, and two murder suspects coming out of the woodwork.
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) pulled through her emergency surgery with flying colors, and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) foresaw no further complications. However, upon waking from her slumber, it was painfully evident that Ciara’s memory had regressed back to a period some four years in the past.
She regarded Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) as nothing more than the dreaded Necktie Killer, and her remembrances of Claire (Isabel Durant) weren’t any sweeter. When Ben insisted on informing his wife of their shared history, Kayla cautioned discretion. Any forced recall could be detrimental to Ciara’s well-being, and that was a fact that Ben reluctantly accepted.
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) fashioned herself a Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) mask and set off with the intention of sowing the seeds of discontent amongst her prisoner and her fiancée.
First, she made a play for lovesick Rex (Kyle Lowder). Then she ensured that Xander (Paul Telfer) would catch him and “Sarah” in an incredibly compromising position. And just like that, Kristen soundly succeeded in her goal.
But while Kristen was busy instigating her scheme, Sarah was busy planning her escape from the DiMera wine room. She found possible salvation in the form of the syringe that Abby (Marci Miller) had discarded during her failed attack on Gwen (Emily O’Brien), and when a jubilant Kristen returned with her tale of victory, Sarah lunged forward, needle in hand!
Sami (Alison Sweeney) continued to loudly protest her innocence, but those protestations fell on deaf ears. During a visit with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Sami revealed that when she arrived at Charlie’s (Mike Manning) apartment, he was already dead.
When pressed for further intel, Sami admitted that she believes Allie (Lindsay Arnold) to be the one responsible for the shooting, and that’s the reason she’s being so obstreperous with the SPD.
Unbeknownst to either parent, there’s every reason to believe that Allie is the actual guilty party. She did, as it turns out, lift Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) gun from its locked box – and that’s most definitely the weapon that was used to kill Charlie.
After tiring of having to accommodate Ava (Tamara Braun) while staying at Rafe’s abode (Galen Gering), Gabi (Camila Banus) packed her bags and headed for the DiMera mansion…but not before insinuating that her former housemate had a hand in her son’s demise.
Ava did, after all, leave the house the night of the murder – despite telling Rafe she had stayed put for the duration. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
