The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, December 28, 2019, features Kristen and Lani laying the groundwork for a huge revenge plot.

Lani (Sal Stowers) was stunned that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) not only brought their habits but wanted to pretend to still be nuns. But, boy, did those clothes come in handy. Lani donned her suit and set out to take Gabi down. She needed to get at the baddie’s phone to gain the upper hand.

An Infuriating Investigation

Unfortunately, that was easier said than done. Breaking into the mansion through the tunnels did her no good. She couldn’t find the cell and left in quite a huff after hearing Eli (Lamon Archey) and Gabi (Camila Banus) getting hot and heavy.

Lani was in a rage by the time she got to the square. She saw the sign for Gabi Chic, completely lost it, and threw a chair through the window.

Kristen And A DiMera Deal

As for Kristen, she met up with Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Kate Mansi) to scheme. They talked about her shares and Chad almost had Kristen convinced to hand them over but made the mistake of mentioning their dad. The second Kristen heard Stefano was back the deal was off.

Bombshell Twists

Things went from that soaring high to a crashing low for Kristen. On her way to search for Stefano, she spied a salacious scene between Nicole and Brady. Nicole fell into Brady’s arms and the two shared a passionate kiss. Poor Kristen saw red.

Shhhh… It’s a Secret

Speaking of The Phoenix, he was over in Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) causing quite the mess. He thought Marlena (Deidre Hall) walked in and saw his face but luckily it was Hattie. He and Kate (Lauren Koslow) connived her to keep mum about “Steve’s” homecoming (and his new eye). They even convinced her she’d rot in prison if she spoke up.

There was no way Hattie was gambling with her freedom. She’s out, she got herself a job with Roman (Josh Taylor) and ready to start fresh. Messing around wasn’t an option. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
