The Days of our Lives recaps for December 13 – December 17, 2021, feature a frame-job for the ages, the Devil being denied its (presumed) due, and so much more.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, December 13
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) escorts Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) to the police station; she positively identifies Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) prosthetic leg. When Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) crosses their path, Kate slaps her and warns that she’ll make Chloe pay should Philip be found dead. Afterwards, Kate visits Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and promises likewise.
After realizing she’s making no headway in convincing Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to return to Salem with her, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) takes her leave of him and “Marlena Evans Black” (Deidre Hall)…Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) warns John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that the Devil has designs on the Weston baby. John deduces the trio’s location.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, December 14
Thanks to the Devil’s machinations, John is unable to confess the truth to Ben. Instead, he’s rendered unconscious and tied to a chair. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) arrives on the scene, and warns Ben of the Devil’s plot to snare his child.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is pleased to hear that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) found EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) in bed with Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker)…EJ tells Susan that he plans to divorce Sami, but Susan encourages him not to give up on his marriage…Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) pleads with Sami to consider starting anew with Lucas rather than fighting to reclaim EJ…Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) pulls Nicole into a passionate kiss.
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, December 15
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) spies Nicole and Rafe’s smooch, but keeps mum…Sami shreds the divorce papers EJ had couriered over to her, then she forces him into a passionate clinch; much to Sami’s chagrin, Nicole interrupts.

“Marlena” uses her powers to strangle Ben and John. She’s KO’d by Belle Black (Martha Madison), but still manages to elude the do-gooders.

Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) convinces Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Kate to have Philip declared legally dead; this results in Brady’s arrest, and stymies the progress he’s made in remembering what really happened the night that Philip disappeared…Kate is stunned to find Philip inside her bedroom.
In a desperate bid to keep Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) from running into one another, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) convinces Xander to vacation in London. After exiting the Salem Inn, suitcases in hand, the couple come face-to-face with Rex!

“Marlena” attacks Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) in order to lift her keycard. Afterwards, she visits the room a comatose Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is in, and orders her to awaken…An exasperated Rex explains to Xander that he’s seen neither hide nor hair of Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) since her and Xander’s wedding day that wasn’t…Philip details for Kate his diabolical plan to frame Brady for his murder. Mother and son are rattled by an approaching Roman.
