Days Of Our Lives Recap (DOOL): Steve And Kayla Come To A Head!

The Days of Our Lives recap (DOOL) for Tuesday, August 14 features Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) coming to a head, and Abby and Stefan facing off!

Steve and Kayla finally confronted one another about the secret that Kayla’s been keeping. While Steve insisted he can handle it because he’s better now, he still believes that Kayla is having an affair.

Kayla assuaged his fears about an affair by telling him that she loves him way too much to cheat on him, but the secret she’s keeping isn’t hers to tell.

Steve correctly deduced that the secret involves Stefan (Tyler Christopher). He told Kayla that he wants Stefan to stop harassing Abby (Marci Miller), no matter if he’s the father of her baby.

Kayla begged Steve to stay out of it, but Steve said that he’s going off to find the “little twerp” and opened Kayla’s door to find Stefan on the other side. Steve demanded Stefan leave Abby alone, but after he left, Stefan wanted to know the results of Abby’s checkup. What’s a HIPPA law violation between friends?

The tension between Abby and Stefan reached a fever pitch.

Stefan overstepped his bounds by suggesting to be a part of his child’s life while Abby is pregnant, and Abby smacked him for his nerve.

After the confrontation, Abby ran to the Kirakis mansion to find Chad (Billy Flynn) and beg him to come home. It’s here that learned Chad and Gabi (Camila Banus) have been getting closer.

Abby then walked in on Chad playing with Gabi and her daughter, like a good daddy would. This is going to get very ugly, and very quickly.

Kate is Terrorized by a Ghost And Confronted By Her Son
The ghost of Andre (Thaao Penghlis) haunted Kate (Lauren Koslow) quite a few times and he ultimately convinced her to tell Chad the truth about the paternity of Abby’s baby. Ted (Gilles Marini) may have overheard her speaking to Andre’s ghost about it, too.

Before she can spill the beans to Chad, Will (Chandler Massey) came in and begged her for her help…just as Ted walked in from the bathroom. Uh-oh.
