The Days of Our Lives recap for January 27-31, 2020, features a plethora of ironies, an audacious plan put into action, a masquerader uncovered, and more.
Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights
Irony was the theme du jour this week on DAYS. Poor Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) couldn’t fathom “A worse feeling than to know you killed someone in your own family,” despite being responsible for killing her grandchild and Adrienne (Judi Evans).
Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) signed divorce papers — and Sonny went to bed with Evan (Brock Kelly) — all because neither could handle the fact that Will was a mother-in-law killer.
Victor and Xander: Ooops
Victor (John Aniston) and Xander (Paul Telfer) were sure they had done the right thing by replacing Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) deceased baby with the one belonging to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) but now the child’s biological parents are probably her only chance at beating her cancer.
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was sure the best way to protect Brady from falling back into Kristen’s arms was to fake an affair and now her actions just might cost her a second chance with Eric (Greg Vaughan).
DAYS Musings
So, it took Shawn Douglas (Brandon Beemer) less than a few hours to realize what no one else could over the course of a year and two months? Guess it pays to be Bo Brady’s son.
Evan: “I’m actually midway through an epic binge of The Good Place.” Boy, NBC sure does live cross-promotion. It’s just too bad they didn’t manage to work the words “series” and “finale” in there — though we’re pretty sure they didn’t try hard enough.
Were you surprised at how quickly Eric acquiesced to Sarah’s plea that Xander be included in baby Mickey’s life? A month ago he was ready to swing his fist at Xander for simply breathing in the babe’s general direction
Are Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Kate Mansi) seriously considering moving themselves and their children out of the DiMera mansion and into the dwelling where Jordan (Chrishell Stause) was throttled to death?
After much speculation, we finally learned that the child Kristen and Brady “lost” was named Rachel Isabella, in honor of their respective mothers. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
