The Days of Our Lives recap for November 11-15, 2019, features Jennifer Horton waking up to a wacky new normal full of dead friends, imprisoned enemies, and a whole lot of quandaries to ponder.
Boy what a difference a year can make. During the 12 months that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) slumbered there were multiple murders — sayonara Haley (Thia Megia) Jordan (Chrishell Hartley), and Adrienne (Judi Evans) — multiple imprisonments – sorry Eve (Kassie DePaiva) Will (Chandler Massey) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) — and a game of musical spouses – goodbye Steve/Kayla and Justin/Adrienne and hello Justin (Wally Kurth) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).
Heck, even Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) have been apart for months on end thanks to a new job opportunity arranged by opportunistic Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso).
Yes, she’s still around and apparently so desperate to land John she flooded Hope’s house and has been purloining the letters sent by both the object of her obsession and the ‘peasant’ he married.
Over at casa Kiriakis, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are raising her secret baby with Eric (Greg Vaugn) while a guilt-ridden Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is climbing the corporate ladder with Brady (Eric Martsolf), who not only lost his baby but the woman who was carrying it.
And poor JJ (Casey Moss) is back to abusing prescription pills — the result of losing Haley to a murder-minded Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who threw her down a flight of stairs.
The only constants still left in Salem is the deep and abiding love between Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer and Ben and Ciara (Victoria Konefal). The latter couple is desperate to prove that Victor (John Aniston) is the mastermind behind Jordan’s murder and Ciara is moving into the mansion to gather proof.
And what of Kristen and Detective Price (Sal Stowers) — she who burned Eli (Lamon Archey) at the alter in front of friends and family? Why they’re safely ensconced in a nunnery preparing to take their final vows, of course.
Meanwhile, Eli and Gabi (Camila Banus) are now employee and employer and a hot-to-trot item to boot. It’s also a good thing that Gabi doesn’t mind mixing business and pleasure because she has a big ol’ target painted on her back thanks to her ascension to the CEO position at DiMera.
But just who is out to assure the widow woman’s destruction? Why it’s Chad (Billy Flynn) who revealed to Abigail (Kate Mansi) that he has been in contact with Stefano and together they have been plotting Gabi’s downfall.
Abigail, however, doesn’t buy that Stefano is actually the man her husband has been chatting with. But if not, who is that mystery man in Stefano’s suit, smoking his cigar, wearing his signet ring and sitting for a new portrait being produced by art forger du jour Princess Gina?
Speaking of Princess Gina, she is not happy that Jennifer is awake. “Damn that Kayla. How many times can one doctor be wrong?” Right?!
Though she briefly considered rubbing Jennifer out, PG finally decided that the most prudent course of action was to, “let no so sleeping dogs lie.” After all, what’s the point of killing an amnesiac who’ll probably never remember what happened to her over a year ago?
Shouldn’t someone, anyone, warn Kate (Lauren Koslow) that her most bedazzled Prince inspired pieces have been pilfered by the predatory Princess Gina? Seriously, you just know she stole that jeweled …continue reading on the next page —>
Shouldn’t someone, anyone, warn Kate (Lauren Koslow) that her most bedazzled Prince inspired pieces have been pilfered by the predatory Princess Gina? Seriously, you just know she stole that jeweled number she was wearing during dinner with John (Drake Hogestyn) right out of Miss Robert’s wardrobe.
Is there any thing that Rolf (William Utay) can’t do? Resurrectionist, document forger, surveillance tape editor…
Surly there’s some rule in the Salem prison system that would prohibit Will from continuing to wear his overpriced and flashy wedding ring, right?
Be honest now. Who was surprised to hear that Chad is actually short for Chadwick? Did your remember that little nugget from all those many years ago? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
