The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, October 5, 2020, features Vincent making a shocking claim, Allie and Tripp relaying two very different stories, and Melinda backing Eli into a corner.
Vincent (Michael Teh) knew he was going down so he decided to go down hard. He told Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) their precious Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was most certainly dead. He shot her on the way to the airstrip after his drug haze wore off.
Hope broke down but Ben did not believe a word. Vincent was hauled off to a holding cell while the duo poured over the case. Yes, Vincent’s gun was missing a bullet and it looks like there was a shell at the scene. But, does this mean Ciara is dead? Ben did not think so. He secretly vowed revenge if it turns out to be true.
Over in another interrogation room, Eli (Lamon Archey) got an earful from Trask (Tina Huang). Melinda laid down the law and offered up a deal. She would drop any case against Lani if Eli proved Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was guilty. If not, Lani would give birth to the twins behind bars. Eli had no choice but to take the offer.
As for Lani, she was listening to Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) emotional story. Lani and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) commended Allie for coming forward but the cop could not promise justice. The attack happened in England so it may be out of her jurisdiction. Allie decided to take her chances.
Lani made a beeline across town to talk to Tripp (Lucas Adams). He and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were going over his side of the story. Tripp admitted he danced with Allie, took her home, and even kissed her, but that was that. There was nothing more. They were shaken up when Lani showed up and asked him to go to the station.
The London ordeal was all Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) could talk about. She went to the pub and shared the sordid tale with Roman (Josh Taylor). If the baby does turn out to be Tripp’s son, they both hope he steps up and does the right things. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
