Days of Our Lives Recap: Tripp Makes A Jaw-Dropping Discovery!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, March 1 features an incriminating discovery, a surprise breakup, and a police chase.

Tripp (Lucas Adam) walked in on Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) just as she revealed to us that her pretty torquiest jewelry box held the lighter that she used to set the first cabin fire.

However, a very clever Claire managed to outsmart Tripp. She distracted him with news about Haley’s (This Megia) citizenship status.

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) visited Ciara (Victoria Konefal) at visit at the Hospital and confessed he was deeply troubled by his own behavior. He couldn’t be trusted to keep her safe. Despite Ciara’s efforts to convince him otherwise, Ben felt he would always be an animal and a killer.

Elsewhere, Melina (Laura Kai Chen) was called in for questioning by the Salem PD and denied knowing that her sister Haley was in the country illegally.

Thanks to Jack (Mathew Ashford), the police were on a hunt for Haley. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) showed up to JJ’s (Casey Moss) apartment first. But since JJ’s betrayal, Haley was long gone so they warned him that he would only make matters worse by hiding her.

Haley showed up at Kayla’s (Kimberly Brady) office to apologize about lying on her job application and interview. By apologizing, Haley also exposed that she used a fake ID to get the job. But Kayla wasn’t bothered by any of it and wanted…continue reading on the next page —>

Jack and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) were surprised by a visit from Melinda who shared she was kicked out of the running. Eve wasted no time in calling the campaign headquarters. And, it looked like Jack’s bravery in confronting Melinda, put him back in the running for Mayor.

They also got a second visit from Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) who angerly went to warn Jack that thanks to him the police were after Haley. But Eve would not allow Jack to take the blame, besides, they were not the ones who made her stay in the country illegally.

The police showed up at the hospital to retain Haley and just then JJ showed up to her rescue.

Claire clearly isn’t as clever as she thought. She left Tripp alone with the jewelry box and returned to find the lighter in his hand… Uh oh, the cats out of the bag!
