The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, August 13, 2021, features Ben Weston and Ciara Brady reconnecting, Theo Carver (rightfully) getting the short end of the stick, Lani Grant opening up to her pops, and Xander Cook coming through for Gwen Rizczech in a big way.
While Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) helped coach Ciara (Victoria Konefal) into total recall, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) revealed to Theo (Cameron Johnson) that she may have a lead on his lady love’s whereabouts…she’s just gotta cough up that $100,00 reward first!
After doing so, she, Theo, and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) are told a tale of a limo seen speeding towards the forest…and Shawn immediately deduced that Ben and Ciara are at the cabin. He and Theo make a beeline for the building – and catch Ben and Ciara in a compromising position! Guess that wedding’s going to have to wait, huh Theo?
Opposite this, Lani (Sal Stowers) explained to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) that she’s not about to forgive Paulina her latest trespass – especially in light of the fact that she’s already forgiven her aunt for so many things, including the time she lied about taking her to Paris. Lani is only human after all…and she REALLY wanted to see the City of Lights.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) did not have great news for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). In fact, he told him that he’s pretty sure that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was peddling drugs for Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowery).
But when Jack confronted his offspring, and also demanded to know whether or not she participated in the moving of Snyder’s corpse, a besotted Xander (Paul Telfer) piped up to say that he was the guilty party. Jack remained dubious.
