The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, November 2, 2020, features Steve getting an earful, Shawn saving Vincent from sudden death, and the DNA drama shocking Tripp.
Eli (Lamon Archey) woke up in the hospital and got the lowdown on Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) situation from Lani (Sal Stowers). There was more, though. Eli said some very confusing things about Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in his sleep and she wanted answers. Eli kept his mouth shut.
Meanwhile, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) worried about Hope missing Ciara’s memorial. They were shocked she left. They did not have time to dwell, though. The couple had a run-in with John (Drake Hogestyn). He swore to make Tripp (Lucas Adams) pay for attacking his granddaughter.
Steve and Kayla told John about the DNA test. The results would be in soon and the real truth would come out. Until then, they all had to cool their jets.
Speaking of the DNA test, it was all Allie (Lindsay Arnold) could talk about. She and Claire (Isabel Durant) agreed it was suspicious Tripp agreed to the swabs. Little did they know, he didn’t.
Meanwhile, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) was at Ciara’s grave saying goodbye to his sister. He wanted a moment with her alone. He did not get a long one, though. Tripp showed up to bare his soul to his ex.
Tripp was in the middle of his heartfelt speech when Allie spotted him. The two had it out and Allie asked him why he was all for the test when he knew he was lying. Tripp was dumbfounded. He didn’t even know about the DNA test.
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) held Vincent (Michael Teh) at the airstrip and demanded answers. Vincent confirmed what he already said. He shot Ciara and left her to burn in the car.
Shawn came upon the scene just as Vincent was about to tell more of the story. Ben gave up his gun but told Shawn he was making a mistake by hauling the baddie back to the station so fast. He wanted to hear it all. Shawn demanded Vincent start talking. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
