Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

The truth did not set Evan (Brock Kelly) free but Zoey hoped it would end in her father’s arrest. She went to Rafe (Galen Gering) and spilled all the shocking details of the year-old deadly crash. As fans suspected, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was not responsible, but neither was Summer.

No, the horrifying accident was caused by Orpheus! In a shocking twist, he and Evan knocked Maggie out (right before she any alcohol ever touched her lips), threw her into the car, and planned on holding her ransom. Unfortunately, the crash happened and they decided to let Maggie take the wrap.

A Menace To Society

Rafe was shocked, obviously. Every awful event that came after were all for a money scheme. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Orpheus was out there free. He was a danger, for sure.

Oh, how right they were. Orpheus (George DelHoyo) wasted no time picking up where that plan left off. He needs mad cash to steal and hide David. Who better to shakedown than Marlena (Deidre Hall)? He told her he had John and she better pay up if she wants to see him alive again.

Maggie: Goodbye Forever

As for Maggie, her showdown with Sarah did not go the way she thought it would. Sarah didn’t yell, Sarah didn’t scream, and Sarah did not rip her limb from limb. Instead, there was a level of understanding and even a lot of love between the mother and daughter.

Sadly, forgiveness from Sarah was not enough for Maggie. The guilt was overwhelming and she was ready to end her life. She said goodbye to Sarah at the same time Victor opened a suicide letter she forwarded to the hospital.

An Unforgivable Act

Meanwhile, tempers exploded at Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) apartment. Brady (Eric Martsolf) came to check-in and spill the details of Rachel’s rescue. There were tears of joy until Eric found out Rachel wasn’t back in town.

She was still on the run, this time with her mother. How dare Brady let Kristen keep the little girl knowing how much they all love her?! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
