Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, March 5, 2020, features Marlena stepping up, SteVano going off the rails, Chad falling under a spell, and Jennifer going ballistic.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Marlena (Deidre Hall) made it to the pub just in time to volunteer to take on SteVano (Stephen Nichols) herself. No need to send in Hattie, this was a battle she had to face. There was no time for planning, just time to jump in. She, Justin (Wally Kurth), and John (Drake Hogestyn) headed for the warehouse.
Deadly Threats For Kayla and Marlena
They got in the room with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) who screamed for them to run, but SteVano took control. He held a knife to Kayla’s throat, and later a gun, and demanded Marlena take his hand. She did, but she thought John would be rushing in at any minute to save her. He didn’t and he wouldn’t be any time soon.
Chad (Billy Flynn) found himself in quite the predicament after a letter came from his father. He was falling under Stefano’s spell and could feel his DiMera blood boiling over. Even a visit from Jack (Matthew Ashford) couldn’t reel him in. Chad was locked in and set out to do his dad’s bidding, starting with taking out John. Was he the one who knocked John to the ground?

A Scathing Punishment
Meanwhile, Kate (Lauren Koslow) felt like Public Enemy #1 pretty much everywhere she went. She was torn apart by Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) at the hospital and fired from her job by Roman. The only one on her side was Hattie, who pushed for understanding but her pleas fell on deaf ears.
Jen and Gina Faced Off
Speaking of Jennifer, she got her hands on Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) and almost didn’t let go. The women had it out about the attack and Jen went ballistic. One thing led to another and Shawn had to pull Jennifer off his mother.
Thankfully, Gina’s days are numbered. The cops got a court order for an MRI and the go-ahead for any surgery necessary to bring back Hope. The royal tried to fight but it did no good. Before she knew it, she was being hauled off to the hospital. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
