Days of our Lives Recap: The Baddies Became Much, Much Worse

Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, March 10, 2020, features Chad following orders, Justin worried for his future, Kayla haunted by the past, and Rolf’s experiments running amok.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

SteVano (Stephen Nichols) was thrilled Rolf finished his procedure but not for long. The first thing Marlena (Deidre Hall) did was ask for John. It took everything SteVano had to not lose his temper. Don’t worry, SteVano, the chip can take a few days to work, Rolf reminded. All he has to do is keep Marlena safely tucked away and romance her a little bit.

Gina Got Greedy

John (Drake Hogestyn) upped his efforts to find his woman. He said and did all the right things to get Gina on his side, and she blindsided him with a simple answer. Where would a king take his queen? To his palace of course (duh). John ran right over ready to bust down the door.

A Deal Is A Deal

Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Chad (Billy Flynn) were also at the mansion. They argued over her shares, her upcoming jail time, and about SteVano. What Kate didn’t know was Chad had orders to kill her and intended to follow through. He even had a letter opener and seemed geared up to stab her in the back. Not before getting her shares, though.

No Allies For Gina

Meanwhile, a nightmare shook up Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), but not as much as facts rocked Justin (Wally Kurth). It would only be a matter of time before SteVano was back to Steve and then what? He opened up and told Jack (Matthew Ashford) he had a sinking feeling their romance would not survive.

As for Kayla, she had bigger fish to fry. How did Hope turn into Gina? A microchip in the brain, of course! The MRI revealed Rolf’s handiwork and that it’s fully reversible. Kayla got out of bed, shook off that bad dream, and got to the hospital.

Panicked about the surgery, Gina summoned Justin to the SPD and tried to strike a deal. Justin was not having it. What’s done is done and it’s time for Gina to pay the price.

Good News for Mickey

Speaking of the hospital, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) were there and on cloud nine in the aftermath of Mickey’s surgery. The kiddo has a long way to go but at least she’s in recovery now. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
