The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, February 11, 2021, features Vivian putting on an act, Ben and Ciara meeting in a strange way, and Steve romancing Kayla on this very special Valentine’s Day.
Steve (Stephen Nichols) was all about the surprise wedding until he found out about Laura’s death. How can he get married when the best man and maid of honor were in mourning? What a bummer. Steve was all about putting Jack first and called him up for permission to head down the aisle. Who was Jack to say no?
And so, Tripp (Lucas Adams) was promoted to best man and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) took became the maid of honor. She helped get Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to the pub where the men were all decked out for the ceremony. The move kept Kayla off her feet. She said yes! Kayla and Steve exchanged vows, put on their rings, and kissed for the third time as man and wife.
The Grant family also had reason to celebrate. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) brought home their babies. Val (Vanessa Williams) and Abe (James Reynolds) were right there to welcome the family to the loft.
The little reunion did not last long, though. Eli took off for the station to have a few words with Vivian (Linda Dano). Lani began panicking about life as a mom and had a few mini breakdowns. Val talked her down, though, and taught her how to care for the twins.
Over at the station, Eli got quite the earful when he went to question Vivian. She feigned confusion. Why would someone arrest her for kidnapping her own children? She kept that game going the entire time. Adding to her cover-up was Ivan (Ivan G’Vera) who apparently took credit for the whole kidnapping.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Jake (Brandon Beemer) arrived minutes after hearing the news. Kate got right to work trying to break Vivian. Even coming face to face with Kate, and later Jake (Brandon Barash), didn’t have Viv breaking character, though.
Meanwhile, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) found each other in their dreams. They each closed their eyes and relived the deadly lovers’ tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. How romantic. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
