The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 21, 2019, features romance taking center stage. John and Marlena shared a tender moment, Gabi admitted her feelings, Eric realized his future, and Tony decided to put Anna first.
Something’s Not Right
“Nicole” (Arianne Zucker) got back to her hotel room and met up with Brady (Eric Martsolf). He asked her if Kristen is alive but she denied it. He didn’t believe her. All the evidence points to Kristen still roaming around.
Tony (Thaao Penghlis) interrupted, sent Brady away, and demanded a divorce. She has Brady and he wants Anna. In fact, he wanted to rush things before Anna (Leann Hunley) ends up married to Roman.
The Plan
Meanwhile, Anna was diving deep into her plan to win back Tony. She bought an engagement ring, put it on, and told Roman to play along. He was reluctant but he joined the fun.
Oh, La La!
Stefan (Bradon Barash) fretted over Gabi (Camila Banus) until she woke up. Then, he fretted some more when they sorted out what happened with Kristen, him saving her, and their new surroundings. But, that fretting was nothing compared to him worrying she does not love him. Gabi tried to deny her feelings but she couldn’t. She adores him.
The dungeon drama took a sharp turn when they realized Nicole is really Kristen. All the pieces came together and they searched for a way out so they could fight back.
Do You Love Him?
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was a busy bee putting John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) party together while keeping each in and out of the loop. The loving gestures were not lost on the club owner.
Chloe even extended the good cheer to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). She gave her friend some big advice on how to deal with Eric (Greg Vaughan). Didn’t Sarah just do the same thing to Rex (Kyle Lowder)? Make it right!
An Unwelcome Visitor
Meanwhile, John and the Marlena spend the afternoon reliving some of their fondest moments, eating the top of their wedding cake, and basking in each other’s glow. Their good time came to a screeching halt, though when a surprise visitor showed up at the door — Susan! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
