The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, July 23 features Kristen covering her tracks, Xander cutting ties, and Kate confessing to Stefan!
Saved By The Drink
Xander (Paul Telfer) was caught between a rock and a hard place when Brady (Eric Martsolf) demanded he open the briefcase. He covered his tracks with a strategic move and produced a damning file on DiMera, but it was not enough.
Brady wanted to see everything. Luckily, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) had a crisis and interrupted the argument. She and Brady left to find a meeting.
Sister Act
Susan (Stacy Haiduk) got a shock seeing herself right in front of her face. It took all of two minutes for Susan to realize she was looking at Kristen and pull out that gun. Kristen was fast on her feet and convinced Susan she was Sister Mary Moira.
She claimed to have fallen in love and passing through Salem while running away with her love. Susan bought it and even agreed to keep it all a secret.
Kristen then laid into Xander and demanded her old face back. He gave it to her but not before cutting ties. Enough is enough and their odd partnership is over.
A Bombshell Confession
Stefan (Brandon Barash) got an earful when he confronted Kate (Lauren Koslow). It took a lot of prodding and prying, but he cracked her like a nut. She admitted she had no choice but to play this dangerous game.
He offered her the world to clear his name and realized something dark is going on when Kate refused. In fact, she got ahold of the cops about him showing up at her room.
Meanwhile, Lani (Sal Stowers) continued comparing Kate and Ted’s (Gilles Marini) stories and sat him down to clear the air. It became apparent something was up when Ted stuck to his story. How could Kate hear Stefan and Ted didn’t.
Moving On Up
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) took Kate’s words to heart and decided they needed time apart. She’s still in love with him and he’s still all about her but that’s not fair to Rex (Kyle Lowder). Maybe space will give her marriage a fighting chance.
Rex took the suggestion well. He enjoys living with his brother but alone time with Sarah would be good too. They are a married couple, after all. It’s time they stop imposing on Eric. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
