The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, April 15, 2020, features Sarah going off the rails, Eric having his say, and Jack pushing Steve in the right direction.

Saying goodbye to Mickey proved way too difficult for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Sure, Mickey is Rachel and Rachel did not belong to her but she has loved this baby as her own since the day she was born. She decided to follow Xander’s advice and go on the run (without him, though). She whisked Rachel away to the airport and got on the private Kiriakis plane.
Mistakes Were Made
Unfortunately, there were some mistakes made along the way, the biggest being shopping in the square before trying to disappear. She was not only spotted by Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey) but told them she was now married and heading on her honeymoon. Will and Sonny paid no mind and wished her well.

Jaw-Dropping Moments
Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Eric (Greg Vaughan) laid into Xander (Paul Telfer) with a vengeance. The men verbally sparred and went at each other with insults and anger. Xander was just as furious with Eric – why did he have to say anything? They all could have been happy! It was the right thing to do, Eric retorted.
Things were not looking good when Sonny and Will came home and Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) showed up. Rachel’s real parents wanted to give them the night to say goodbye but headed over anyway. Eric went up to get the tot and everyone realized Sarah was on the run. Thankfully, WilSon knew where she went.
Will Steve Fight?
Meanwhile, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) went out for dinner with her man, leaving Steve (Stephen Nichols) to lick his wounds. He got the inside scoop on Kayla’s love life and how things came to be. Jack pushed Steve to fight for Kayla. Sure, she may be with Justin right now but everyone knows her heart will forever belong with Steve. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
