The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, April 14, 2020, features a day of tears of joy for one woman, guilt and sadness for another, and rage for a grieving mother. Kristen got a miracle, Sarah ripped into Xander, and Kayla did not choose Steve.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) unleashed on Xander (Paul Telfer) with a fire and fury of a woman scorned. She halted the wedding, laid the truth out right in front of Justin (Wally Kurth), and called Xander out on everything. It was an ugly moment. So ugly Justin retreated to another part of the mansion.
Xander did his best to explain his crimes but there were no right reasons for doing what he did. He couldn’t spin his tale so he did what he always does and tried to find a very Kiriakis way of making things right. He tried to convince Sarah to go on the run with him and the baby.
Sarah said no, of course. Instead, she told Xander to get out, took the baby upstairs, and prepared to say goodbye to the little girl.
Kristen’s Dreams Came True
Over at the gravesite, Brady (Eric Martsolf) took away all Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) pain by revealing their daughter is alive. Not only alive but a pretty big part of their lives. He explained the bombshell truth about the baby swap and exactly who was behind the fiasco.
Reality set in when Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) showed up. He was there to mourn his daughter and seeing his pain hit Rachel’s parents hard. They ultimately decided to give Sarah and Eric the night with the baby before going to pick her up.
A Lot Has Changed
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Steve (Stephen Nichols) was heartbroken to find out Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) moved on. But, he was shattered to find out the who and why. She revealed she was with Justin (Wally Kurth) and it led to a tearful discussion about Adrienne. Poor Steve missed a lot, including his sister’s untimely death.
Steve did get some relief when Jack (Matthew Ashford) popped by for a visit. They talked about the current state of events and Steve blamed himself. Jack did his best to console him and give him insight into how things went down.
