The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, June 15, 2021, features Marlena and Lucas waging a pointless war, EJ and Chad’s loyalty and trustworthiness being brought into question, and Brady inviting the enemy in and out of the cold.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Try as he might, and boy did his lips try, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) just couldn’t convince Sami (Alison Sweeney) to stay put in Salem. Marlena (Deidre Hall) also tried, and failed, to get her daughter to see sense…funny that.
Familial Patter
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) had a nice long chat about the state of the DiMera family and business, and to say that the latter was pleased would be an understatement. Tony begged and pleaded for his younger brother (or cousin, or whatever they actually are to one another – DAYS has all ways placed fast and loose with Tony’s parentage) to wrestle control away from Jake (Brandon Barash) – but EJ just wasn’t interested, or was he?
Tony seemed to think so. And he also seemed to think that EJ’s professed devotion to fair Samantha was suspect. So, it probably won’t come as a surprise to him when EJ and Sami move back into the manse.
Blind Ambition
Chad (Billy Flynn) quickly deduced that Kate (Lauren Koslow) was faking her maladies, and she, in turn, confessed all – including her intent to continue being a big ole faking faker.
Kate wondered if Chad might rat her out before she gets her chance to make Jake and Gabi’s (Camila Banus) life a misery, but he assured her there was no chance of that. He loves her like the mother he shoved down a staircase and killed, so she can count on him to be discreet.
Three’s Company
Brady (Eric Martsolf) insisted that there was no circumstance under which he would work with Xander (Paul Telfer) – and no amount of begging from Nicole (Arianne Zucker) would change his mind.
So, instead, Nicole pulled out the old you left me high and dry and then expected to be rehired card, so Brady was shamed into telling Xander that he was hired. Score one for the not-so-good guys. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
