The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, May 25, 2021, features Sami holding out for a hero, and Jan deciding that she and Claire are Salem’s answer to Thelma and Louise.
A seriously pissed off Xander (Paul Telfer) had a bone to pick with Sami (Alison Sweeney). Turns out, E.J. doesn’t care that strongly about her safety, seeing as how he reneged on the deal to hand over that cool $10 million.
Xander’s come to collect what’s rightfully owed him, but the only recompense he receives is a baseball bat to the radius – and that’s what he gets for holding Lucas’s (Bryan Dattilo) favorite ex at gunpoint!
Like Lucas, Sami’s pretty miffed about the whole exercise, but as she rightfully points out, they’ve got bigger things than Xander to worry about…like why on earth would E.J. put Sami’s life in danger; and who the hell is that knocking at the door?!
Jan (Heather Lindell) and Claire (Isabel Durant) have changed locales, and the former debates whether she should execute the latter, or merely use her as a bargaining chip. She eventually decides to go with option two and then receives a very interesting quid-pro-quo offer from Belle (Martha Madison): Hand Claire over unharmed, and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) will be hers, free and clear.
If at first you don’t succeed, strangle the woman you want to get information from. It might not seem logical, but it certainly made Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) feel better, and it might just have put the fear of God into Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).
If nothing else, it probably made her more susceptible to Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) subsequent plea for answers. Kristen eventually coughed up the goods, AKA Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) location, but unluckily for all and sundry, the car that the songbird was stashed in has since been co-opted by Jan and Claire.
If there are two things that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) can agree on, it’s that they hate mean ole Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry), and they’re crazy for each other.
But while Kayla would rather verbally eviscerate their common enemy, he who was once called Patch would much prefer letting their voice boxes rest and let their lips do the talking (wink, wink). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
