The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, October 21, 2020, features a trio of escaped felons turning lives upside down. Orpheus kidnapped Marlena, Clyde strangely played a caring dad, and a bombshell reveal had Rolf seeing red.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) decided to ride out the blackout at home. They talked about Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) memorial and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) shocking guilty plea. Lani wondered why she confessed. Eli was about to tell her but was saved by the bell. It was time for the duo to get to work.
One Fine Frenemy
It’s all peace, calm, and bonding on the second floor of the DiMera mansion. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) and Abigail (Marci Miller) talk about the party, Jake’s accusations, and Chad’s past. Of course, Abby does not know Gwen was just gathering more ammo.
Rolf Went Ballistic
Downstairs, things went off the rails. Rolf (William Utay) held a gun to Chad’s (Billy Flynn) head and demanded he turn over the chip with Stefano’s essence. Chad couldn’t, though. He and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) destroyed it months ago.

Rolf did not like that answer at all. That meant Stefano was really dead with no chance of return. All that work, love, and devotion up in flames. How dare they! Rolf vowed revenge and threatened to kill Chad right then and there.
Fatherly Advice
Speaking of murder, Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) plan to off his enemy went off the rails once again. Clyde (James Reed) did not just stop him by showing up, he stopped him by figuring out his son’s plan and talking him down. Unfortunately, the father/son reunion was cut short when Eli came pounding down the door.
Help Me, Doc
Orpheus (George DelHoyo) said he was not there to murder Marlena (Deidre Hall) unless she did not help him. Orpheus needed her for a special mission and demanded she come with him at once.
His plan was almost thwarted when Lani came to the door. However, Marlena put on a happy face, thanked the cop for the wellness check, and did not even drop a hint she was in trouble. Once Lani was out of the way, Orpheus whisked her away. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
