Days of our Lives Recap: Philip Confronts Gabi In Spyware-Gate Caper

The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 8, 2021, features Philip Kiriakis getting the jump on a potential usurper, Paulina Price running off at the mouth, and Bonnie Lockhart’s day going from bad to worse.

It’s a familiar refrain: Why can’t Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) have anything nice? The poor man can’t even compose a threatening email to a love rival without being spied upon by scheming underling, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), or interrupted by Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) – a well-meaning ex.

Luckily for Philip, his childish antics actually helped uncover Gabi’s duplicity – don’t you just hate it when the spyware you installed on someone else’s computer gets rumbled by a Gunthar? – so, rather than continue hating on Brady, he rushed over to give Ms. Hernandez a piece of his mind!

DAYS Recap: Relatively Speaking

As if being robbed at gunpoint by two gem-stealing lowlifes wasn’t enough of a bonding experience – you really gotta watch Beyond Salem! – Paulina (Jackée Harry) insisted that she, and a not at all interested Abe Carver (James Reynolds), invite Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) over for a home-cooked meal.

The festivities, and dessert, were brought to a halt when Salem’s finest were called to action – which left Paulina with the opportunity to play babysitter to Jules and Carver – to whom she confided that she’s really GRANDMA Paulina; but did Abe overhear her confession?

DOOL Recap: Something Borrowed, Someone Blue

Though she didn’t really seem convinced herself, Bonnie (Judi Evans) denied the fact that she robbed Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) of his ill-gotten gains. Then, once she was well and truly caught out, Bonnie had to come up with a plausible excuse…except she really doesn’t have one. And as for Calista Lockhart’s (Cady Huffman) bloodied corpse, well, that one explains itself.
