The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, March 25, 2020, features Nicole reaching out, Sarah digging deep, and Hattie putting it all on the line.
It was another day of damage control for Xander (Paul Telfer), especially after running into Nicole (Arianne Zucker). She admitted defeat, apologized for thinking he would sink so low, and swore she was moving on. However, it was clear it was all a lie and Xander made another beeline for the lab tech to make sure his secret stayed that way.
The encounter also left Nicole on alert. Something was definitely off and she realized she made a mistake. Running the test in Salem was a big mistake. Nicole turned to Abe (James Reynolds) for help and they decided it was best to send the samples away and get the real answers.
Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was on cloud nine knowing her baby was coming home. In a matter of hours, Mickey would be home and taking on the world. Unfortunately, her cloud burst when Eric learned of the engagement and flipped his lid.
Well, that did it. Sarah unleashed on him like never before. He was the one who left her for another woman so he doesn’t get a say in her romantic life anymore. Sure, they hid the truth from Eric but if he can forgive Nicole for lying, he can forgive them too. The battle continued when Xander arrived and gave Eric a piece of his mind too. The man went back and forth until Sarah hit the roof.
Meanwhile, baby Mickey’s real parents put a positive spin on their pain. They decided to open up a charity in Rachel’s name. Donating to the hospital won’t bring Rachel back but it brought Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) a moment of peace and healing.
Speaking of romantic lives, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) got back to basics with their own love story. They say love conquers all and they are proof positive. Ciara believed in him, fought for him, and saved him from sudden death.
Meanwhile, Hattie (Deidre Hall) put his heart on the line and made a play for Roman (Josh Taylor). Sadly, it didn’t go her way and she ended up hurt and furious. The apron came off, Hattie quit her job on the spot, and then she ran out of the room. Roman chased after her and begged her to stay but wouldn’t commit to a relationship.
