The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, March 9, 2020, features SteVano taking control, Chad losing his mind, Rafe doing an apology tour, and those stuck in the warehouse struggling to survive.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
SteVano (Stephen Nichols) warned Marlena (Deidre Hall) to cooperate — or else! When she balked at being his lady love, he promised to make it happen, with Rolf’s (William Utay) help. Marlena tried to stop the madness but it was no good. SteVano had back up and he used his minion for all he was worth.
Like Father, Like Son
Chad (Billy Flynn) was fully under his dad’s control. He fought the urge to kill Gabi (Camila Banus) but the voice in his head was too strong. Thankfully, Rafe (Galen Gering) came into the room at just the right time. It’s okay, though, Chad had bigger fish to try. He hopped on over to the gatehouse to help his father overtake Marlena. They did, and she was last seen unconscious on the floor.
Rafe: I Was Wrong
Speaking of Rafe, he spent his day making his rounds at the hospital instead of searching for David. He stopped by Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) room to bury the hatchet and apologize for being against him. He also sang Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) praises for standing up for what was right.
He was lucky to get to his sister’s room when he did. Chad wasn’t able to do any damage and Gabi was safe (for now). She and Rafe talked about her anger issues and Gabi promised to step up and do better. (Sure, Jan).
Hattie The Hero (Again)
Back at the warehouse, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), John (Drake Hogestyn), and Justin (Wally Kurth) had to move fast and save themselves from a slow death. SteVano had their room rigged with gas in hopes of killing them off. He almost did it. They fought hard but the gas got them and they all ended up on the floor.
They got lucky when Roman (Josh Taylor) and Hattie came to their rescue. The duo opened the door, got them out of the concrete dungeon, and off to the hospital. Everyone was safe and would live to fight another day. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
