The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, September 24, 2021, features nearly an entire episode’s worth of discussion about possessed Marlena Evans Black…oh, and Abe Carver’s plan to pop the question to Paulina Price.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Some things never change. MarDevil still shies away from the Good Book, she’s not amused by clerical collars, and her affection for the former Father John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is nonexistent. She also isn’t in the least bit pleased by tattletales telling tales about her.
So, when Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) called with the news that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) was coming round from his sedation, and mumbling all sorts of strangeness, off to the hospital MarDevil set, intending to “take care” of her problem!
DAYS Recap: #LifeGoals
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is a smitten man. And since so many of his nearest and dearest readily approve of Paulina (Jackée Harry), he’s ready to make a big move; but first, he’s gotta get her daughter’s blessing.
DOOL Recap:
Which is easier said than done, because she is too busy getting the bejeezus scared out of her; who would have guessed that The Exorcist, a movie 45+ years old, would be so terrifying?!
Luckily for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), she’s got Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to protect her. Unluckily for Johnny, neither Chanel nor John think it’s a good idea for him to make his movie about Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) – not if he’s planning to include Marlena’s time as a possessee.
But not only is Johnny pressing forward, but he’s also scrapped The Sami Brady Story, and decided to focus entirely on his grandmother’s plight. Move over William Friedkin!
