The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, October 19, 2021, features MarDevil proving that it’s smarter than the average John Black, a wannabe surgeon showing off his sewing skills, and a lovelorn Philip Kiriakis getting (unsolicited) advice from family.
John (Drake Hogestyn) is starting to get a clue…fancy that. However, MarDevil is able to throw him off the scent by acting incredulous and making sure that John doesn’t catch sight of its jaundiced eyes – the clever, clever beast.
There’s absolutely nothing that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) can’t do – except believe in God and Devil (which is a bit ironic given who his mother is). Luckily for Tripp, all Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) needed him for was to mend Henry’s favorite blankie…which he did in spades.
Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) secured Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) participation in his film – she’ll be playing her ex-boyfriend’s grandmother because playing his mother would be utterly ridiculous – and he finally managed to get Allie’s signature on her legally binding actor’s contract; Johnny also got snippy with Tripp; those two really don’t like each other, and we have no idea why.
Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is a sad little feller – and that is something that his mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), can not abide…especially since his mood is the direct result of yet another argument with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). If only I’d succeeded in poisoning Chloe all those years ago, sighed Kate (internally, of course).
Opposite this, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) offered to move Chloe into John and Marlena’s penthouse (they surely won’t mind!), but Chloe said no thank you – she’s headed for the Salem Inn. Galant Brady escorted her inside the hotel, her suitcase in his hot little hand…it was a sight that didn’t sit too well with Philip.
