Days of our Lives Recap: Lonely Xander and Nicole Have Drunk Sex

Xander (Paul Telfer) may be a few sheets to the wind, but he still has eyes and an understanding of the human heart. So, it’s no surprise that he picked up on the fact that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) had the hots for Rafe (Galen Gering).

And since the best way to get over someone is to get underneath someone else entirely, Nicole decided that she had no other option than to join Xander in bed. Hey, at least it stopped that pretty man from talking!

Night On The Town

When Steve (Stephen Nichols) caught Rafe and Ava (Tamara Braun) dining at Julie’s Place, he let his displeasure be known. Rafe, in turn, dismissed Steve’s rape and torment at Ava’s hand as merely a relationship that went off the rails (charming!).

Ava made a big show of apologizing to her former victim, but whether she means a word of it or not remains to be seen. Steve wasn’t wholly convinced, but, of course, Rafe lapped up his date’s words with a spoon.

Confession Is Good For The Soul

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) demanded a confab with Sami (Alison Sweeney), during which she confessed to drugging, kidnapping, and losing Kate (Lauren Koslow). After suppressing her giggles over the thought of her former monster-in-law stuffed inside a duffle bag, Sami began to realize the depths to which her blackmailer had sunk.

But Kristen had still more news to share. It was she, and not a random Sunday driver, who nearly killed Brady (Eric Martsolf). In response, Sami attempted to phone Rafe and share with him Kristen’s story.

And since Kristen couldn’t have a little thing like the truth seeing the light of day, she stuck Sami with the same knockout drug that hadn’t quite done the job where Kate was concerned. Days of Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
