The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, May 4, 2021, features Lucas and Sami in the hot seat, Gwen at her scheming best, and an interrupted romantic interlude.
Of all the bedrooms in all the world, why did Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) have to crawl into Sami’s (Alison Sweeney)? Sure, it was fun while it lasted. But the fallout really hasn’t been worth it.
And on top of the easily verifiable lie he fed Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to keep her away from Brady (Eric Martsolf), Lucas now has that felonious femme fatale Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) breathing down his neck.
Ole Kristen’s never been exactly enamored of Lucas on the best of days, and now that she’s being forced to rely on him and Sami to do her bidding, she’s starting to come across like a backseat driver…only far more deadly.
To make matters worse, Chloe, that evil golden-throated succubus, had the nerve to purchase Rachel a birthday present. Does she have no shame?! After this latest indignity, Kristen had a warning for Sami – ensure that Lucas bogarts all of Chloe’s time and energy, or else her little indiscretion will see the light of day.
Remember Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) commitment to becoming a better person? Yeah, that’s gone right out the proverbial window. Gwen doubled down on her accusation that Abigail (Marci Miller) purposefully sent her tumbling down that staircase, and after the two women engaged in a battle of who could cry the deepest river, it appeared that Gwen had emerged victorious.
Over at Casa de Hernandez, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Rafe (Galen Gering) flirted their way through a discussion about their kiss, and they both agreed that they didn’t hate it. After talking about Nicole (Arianne Zucker), who did hate it, the two decided they should do it all over again.
But of course, duty called and Rafe was forced to leave Ava wanting more. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
