JJ (Casey Moss) was ashamed and alone but he didn’t stay that way long. He tried to hide behind closed doors and even pretended to go away for the holidays but Abby found out the truth. She showed up by his bedside and demanded they tell their parents, for his own good, of course.

JJ fought but eventually gave in and let Abby call Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jen (Melissa Reeves). They rushed to his room, listened to his heartbreaking tale of woe, and pledged their support. Yes, he messed up. Yes, he’s broken. But, the important thing is they are together now.

Why Are YOU Here?

Over at the warehouse, Rafe (Galen Gearing) called Kate (Lauren Koslow) and “Hope” (Kristian Alfonso) out on their shady behavior. Why is Kate there? And, more so, why are they fighting? The women had to do serious damage control and think fast on their feet to throw Rafe off their tracks.

A Tempting Moment

Meanwhile, SteVano (Stephen Nichols) unlocked the door to let Marlena (Deidre Hall) in but stopped himself. However, noticing the door wasn’t locked, Marlena walked in anyway. SteVano kept himself hidden but watched her every move. He was almost ready to show himself when Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) came over too.

A Weirdly Close Guess

Later, Marlena told John (Drake Hogestyn) how she felt SteVano’s presence. Is he really back? John and Abe (James Reynolds) thought so. In fact, Abe opened up about his suspicion the Phoenix may have had plastic surgery. John laughed it off. Little did they know how close Abe was to the truth.

Rafe: Rising Suspicions

Back at the station, Rafe continued digging at “Hope,” even about her private life. He asked about her living situation and she shut him down flat. Nothing about her life is his business. The conversation threw him off and he wondered what was really going on with his ex. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
