The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, October 14, 2021, features Jake DiMera going to extremes, Johnny DiMera proving that all is fair in love and war and business, and Chloe Lane continuing to get all up on her ex.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Jake (Brandon Barash) had a lot of things to say to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson)…none of them particularly kind. What it all boiled down to was that Philip was dumber than he looked because he of all people should know that you do NOT mess with the mob. There is always a price to pay, somewhere down the road, and maybe a newly armed Jake will be the piper that Philip has to pay.
Opposite this confrontation, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) spent her morning telling Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) exactly what she thinks of her…and wasn’t particularly complimentary. Also, Gabi will be damned if she lets her rival take over GabiChic; and Ava is fine with that stance.
DAYS Recap: Integrity Be Damned
Though he isn’t that enamored with the idea of his father playing John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in his film, Johnny (Carson Boatman) isn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth…even if it’s a gift horse bearing conditions.
Surprisingly, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) weren’t exactly on board with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) being cast opposite Abby, and they were further incensed to learn of the fact after they’d signed legally binding contracts. Oh well, shrugged Johnny; it’s just business.
DOOL Recap: Jealousy Is One Hell of a Drug
Not satisfied with having one lady love, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) took it upon himself to tell Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) that he really, really likes her. Much to his satisfaction, Nicole admits the same. Now, what are these two to do?
Not taking advice from Philip, that’s what. His relationship with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) is tenuous at best, and kaput at worst. Why can’t he get it through his head that Chloe is allowed to find comfort in the arms of her ex-husband whenever and wherever she pleases, and that it’s just no big deal?
