Days of our Lives Recap: Jack Leaves Gwen’s Confession To Save Julie

The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, September 6, 2021, features Julie Williams coming thisclose to becoming a Julie-cicle, Xander Cook realizing that he’s been double-crossed, and Ciara Brady Weston pouting because she didn’t get her way as per usual.

Perhaps the Universe doesn’t want Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to come clean where her past misdeeds are concerned – how else to explain the fact that just before she can confess the truth about her miscarriage, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is called away to rescue Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) from a walk-in freezer?

And speaking of explanations, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) better have a damn good one, because Julie is spitting mad that he imprisoned her inside a death trap. Scratch that, he imprisoned her inside a death trap and then he peered inside to watch her suffer! But that doesn’t seem like the kind of thing that Doug would do…so something must be terribly, terribly wrong.

DAYS Recap: Con Job

Much like Julie, Xander (Paul Telfer) wasn’t having a particularly swell day. First, he learned that Gwen planned to tell all – which kinda-sorta negates his whole gallant sacrifice. Then, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) came to collect “his” million dollars, only to find the briefcase empty.

As per usual, Xander got the blame for something he didn’t do…but it didn’t take him long to realize that it was Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) who played thief. And as he set off to confront her, Bonnie busied herself with getting Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) from atop Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and into an upstairs bedroom, where she presented her with the ill-gotten gains.

Calista was uber appreciative…until she wasn’t. Turned out that her plan all along had been to get her hands on the cash owed to her by Bonnie…and then permanently silence Bonnie!

DOOL Recap: Mama Mia

Cut to: somewhere deep in the forest. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is practically fuming that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) isn’t jumping at the chance to have a baby with her. Who cares that they can’t afford one? That they live in an apartment not much bigger than a shoebox? Ciara wants a baby, and she wants one now. What’s wrong with Ben? Luckily, he’s able to kiss his way out of the awkward situation…for now.
