The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, November 20, 2020, features Claire scoring a date, Xander playing detective, and Jan destroying Belle’s entire life.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) got a surprise when he ran into Marlena (Deidre Hall). He had no idea his sister was getting married but was delighted to finally get an invite. He promised Marlena he would be there. Belle needed at least one sibling by her side.
Charlie got a taste of being part of the Black family when he agreed to be Claire’s date. The poor guy got the third degree and kept sticking his foot in his mouth. His nerves recovered just in time to turn things around and make a good impression.
As for Claire, she felt the sting of rejection when she went to help Belle (Martha Madison). Her mom sent her away and all but slammed the door in her face. Claire chalked it up to nerves but she was wrong.
On the other side of the door was Jan (Heather Lindell). She stood with a gun to Belle’s head ready to pull the trigger if her nemesis made one wrong move. Jan had no issues shooting to kill if need be.
Back at the townhouse, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) got ready for his wedding. He and Claire got into place when they received a text Belle was on her way in. John (Drake Hogestyn) met the bride outside the door to walk her down the aisle.
Everything was picture perfect. Shawn could not wait to marry the love of his life. Unfortunately, he lifted the veil and it was not Belle underneath. It was Jan.
Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) proved why she was a doctor and not a spy. She snapped a pic of Ava (Tamara Braun) but it was too blurry for Xander (Paul Telfer) to make out a face. The couple then stalked her apartment hoping to catch a glimpse. Unfortunately, they did not get one. Xander did hear a familiar voice, though.
Inside the room, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Ava argued about their next moves. Philip warned their money-laundering operation was getting dangerous. Ava told him to figure it out. If not, everyone would know bout his gambling secrets. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
