The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, November 30, 2020, features Rafe getting the rundown on Hope, John facing an uncertain future, and Gabi getting a reality check.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
The shock of catching Jake (Brandon Barash) with Kate (Lauren Koslow) was awful, but what came next was worse. Gabi (Camila Banus) told Jake (and Kate) what really happened with her family and why she said she did not love him. It was too little too late. Jake admitted he already had feelings for Kate.
Buh-Bye Salem
That newsflash pushed Gabi over the edge. Oh well, c’est la vie! Gabi was leaving town anyway. Her place is with Ari so she is hightailing it to Arizona to be with her daughter.
Meanwhile, Rafe (Galen Gering) was crushed to hear all about Hope’s departure from town. Roman (Josh Taylor) replayed Jen finding the letter, Hope’s heartbreaking decision to leave, and the aftermath of her disappearance.
As if that was not enough devastation for one day, Gabi caught up with Rafe and told him her grand plans. Sorry, brother, but this is the way things have to be. Ari and Gabi need each other.
Who Will Be The Next Commissioner?
Unaware Rafe was back in town, Abe (James Reynolds) decided it was time to hand over the commissioner title. Who better to take over than Hope’s son? Abe offered the position to Shawn (Brandon Beemer).
Much to Abe’s surprise, Shawn turned him down. He was hoping to go back to Hong Kong before too long. His and Belle’s lives were there, after all.
A Bad Wrap
As for Belle, she was busy trying to get her dad out of holding. John (Drake Hogestyn) worried he was facing life for murder. No, John, that charge isn’t anything you have to worry about, Jan (Heather Lindell) is still alive.
Unfortunately, with the holidays, the wheels of justice moved slowly. John would have to spend at least one more night in lock-up.
I Like You
Meanwhile, Charlie (Mike Manning) went to visit Claire (Isabel Durant). The pair talked about the wedding, Jan, and John’s charges, and their budding relationship. They agreed to throw caution to the wind and see how this all plays out. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
