The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 25, 2021, features Gabi Hernandez scheming against Ava Vitali AND Philip Kiriakis, Rafe Hernandez torn between two women, and Brady Black stealthily manipulating Chloe Lane.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Ava (Tamara Braun) just wasn’t feeling herself. How else to explain the fact that she didn’t prepare Rafe (Galen Gering) a four-course breakfast? But color Rafe shocked to learn that his lover’s mood is all down to the time he’s spending with Nicole (Arianne Zucker)…aren’t they all best friends?
Well, of course, says Ava. The difference? Ava doesn’t want to sleep with Nicole. Rafe resented the accusation; he proceeded to hem and haw, and deflect, and protest just a little too much. Adding insult to injury, the argument was interrupted by Gabi (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). Gabi, a staunch opponent of Ava’s, took great pleasure in needling her and Rafe.
Afterward, Gabi happened upon a distraught Nicole – who’d just been read the riot act by Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). How dare she cheat on his son AND air their dirty laundry in public! – and she encouraged Nicole to rush right over and take comfort in Rafe’s arms. And because Nicole is a champion chump, she decided to do just that.
DAYS Recap: Manhattan Lives
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is New York-bound, and he wants Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to join in – they’ll even make a stop at Craig and Nancy’s so Chloe can see her family. Screw how it will make Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) feel!
DOOL Recap: Trojan Horse
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is a woman scorned. But rather than do something ultra crazy – ala Kristen DiMera – she’s settling for undercutting Jake’s chance at getting hired at Titan. Philip gives heed to his mother’s multitude of warnings…which makes for an awkward meeting between himself and Jake.
